Throwback Thursday 6-11-15

Throwback Thursday to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards that took place on Monday, June 1 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. For a little history, this year eleven awards were given out: Womenswear Designer of the Year, Menswear Designer of the Year, Accessories Designer of the Year, Swarovski Award for Womenswear, Swarovski Award for Menswear, Swarovski Award for Accessory Design, Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, International Award, The Founder's Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert, The Media Award in Honor of Eugenia Sheppard, and the Fashion Icon Award. Throughout the summer, I will for sure be referencing some of these winners, but for now I am just going to post my favorite outfits of the night. For the win, without a doubt, are the capes and jumpsuits of the night. The ultimate winner is GIGI HADID in a gold sparkly Michael Kors jumpsuit. My favorite outfit as of now is always the jumpsuit. Wear it with heels and you are a goddess with so much women power it's unreal.
