I have always been a big fan of Blake Lively. Her glamour and style are undeniable. When she appeared as the lead in Lee Toland Krieger's The Age of Adeline her character brought old 20's, 50's, and 80's modest style to the present day. With higher neck lines, longer skirts, longer dresses, ribbons, and scarves Adeline's style in the film proves the way retro modern styles elicit glamour and class. If anything, this movie rekindled my love for light scarves and ribbons tied in a pulled back pony. Furthermore, her hair completed the look every time--slightly pulled back, if not all the way, with loose curls somewhere.
